Calving time!

I love this time of year, even if we are averaging 33 degrees celcius or above during the days.  The good thing about the heat is that it also means it's storm season, with mother nature putting on some extremely impressive lightning shows lately.  It is also calving & foaling season which is always exciting.  Last year we chose not to breed any of our mares which means no foals for us this year.  We're instead making do anxiously watching our cows and maiden heifers have their babies.

So far two of my grown up poddies have had their first babies over the course of the last week.  Here are some happy snaps.  Enjoy! :-)

Proud to now be Gidgee Eyes Sunglasses stockists!

It's nearly the end of October which means Christmas is well & truly on it's way.
Our Christmas stock is just starting to arrive & should all be here by mid November at the latest to allow for plenty of shipping time for good old Australia Post mail orders.

We are also proud to announce that we are now stockists for the fantastic Australian brand...
Gidgee Eyes Sunglasses!!

The entire range can be found at

On the home front it's hot & very dry and we're all crossing our fingers & toes hoping for the storm season to start.  Our cows are starting to spring so we should have some calves running around very soon.
